Remote Renewable Power Generation Programme
On 14 August 2006 the Australian Government announced an additional $123.5 million over four years to extend and expand the RRPGP.
The new funding becomes available in July 2007 and will be available for off main-grid areas of Australia (where existing RRPGP sub-programmes are not available).
The new funding will support similar projects to the existing programme - renewable energy systems for remote communities and properties, major projects and industry support activities.
